Same founder. Same values. Two different structures, each built to serve a different part of the same vision.
PRIVATE PRACTICE
Caitlin's Counseling Corner
The private practice where it all started. Caitlin provides individual counseling for teens, adults, and families across New Jersey and Florida via telehealth, specializing in trauma therapy, ART, anxiety, and identity-centered work.
The practice funds the center. Every session, every client relationship, every published piece builds toward the larger vision of what Caitlin’s Counseling Center will become.

The nonprofit arm Caitlin has been working toward since founding the practice. Built to expand access to mental health care in Monmouth County for individuals and families who face barriers to receiving it.
Where the practice serves clients one session at a time, the center is built to serve the community at scale.

WHY THIS EXISTS
Access to Care Changes Everything.
The hardest barrier between most people and good mental health care is not willingness. It is access. Too many clinicians are fee-only and do not accept insurance. Waitlists at community mental health centers stretch months long. People who need support most are often the least able to get it.

Reducing the financial, geographic, and systemic barriers that prevent people from getting the mental health support they need.

A genuinely inclusive space for individuals from all communities, identities, and life circumstances. No one turned away.
Reducing Stigma
Community education, advocacy, and outreach that helps people feel comfortable asking for support before they reach a crisis point.
Building Something Lasting
A nonprofit center with a multidisciplinary team that exists beyond any one clinician, funded by grants, donations, and community partnership.
WHAT THE CENTER OFFERS
Services Available Now and Coming Soon
The center launched with mental health counseling services available immediately. Additional services are actively in development, with launch planned for 2027 pending grant funding.

Mental Health Counseling
Individual mental health counseling services for teens, adults, and families. Trauma-informed, identity-affirming, and grounded in the Choose Your Healthy framework. Available now through Caitlin’s Counseling Center.
COMING 2027
Psychiatric Services
Access to psychiatric evaluation and medication management through a licensed psychiatrist or APRN. A critical piece of the full-service center model that addresses the gap between therapy and clinical psychiatric care.

Case Management
Coordinated support that connects individuals and families with the services, resources, and systems they need to stabilize and thrive. Essential for clients navigating complex situations across multiple service areas.
COMING 2027
Group Programs and Workshops
Community-based groups, parent support programs, and psychoeducation workshops. Designed to bring Choose Your Healthy into a group setting and extend the center’s reach beyond one-to-one care.

Caitlin’s approach to anxiety is built around two things: understanding the pattern and building the toolkit. Insight alone does not resolve anxiety. Skills alone without understanding hit a ceiling. The combination is what moves the needle.

Building a Center the Community Deserves
The nonprofit was founded in 2026. The vision behind it goes back much further. Caitlin has been working toward a community mental health center in Monmouth County since the earliest days of her practice, and every step since has been building toward this.
The roadmap is clear. The funding path is active. And the community that shows up for events, donates, and shares the mission is what makes the timeline move faster.
